Athens, Ala. – On Friday, November 3rd, at 9:30am, The Mark White Show will air for the first time on WKAC The Big 1080 and will be streamed live on WKAC1080.com. Mark White, who is a co-host for Applebee’s Tailgate Talk on Saturday mornings and a free lance writer for The News Courier and The Decatur Daily, has been wanting to do host a radio show for a while now. When Difference Makers, Inc. officially formed as a 501(c)(3) to help the homeless with housing and resources, White decided that it would be a good time to get a radio show going. The focus of the show is to recognize people, difference makers, who have done or are doing work that impacts their community in a positive way. Thanks to the generous support of sponsors such as Commercial Drilling, Inc., Twins Realty, and Suzanne’s Bakery & Eatery, the show will be a regular program in the WKAC weekly lineup. There are many ways you connect with the show. Right now, you are encouraged to go to the show Facebook page @TheMarkWhiteShow and like the page.
