Second Grade Student Recognized For Good Deed

Rogersville, Ala. – Doing good knows no age limit and Karson Mcelyea, who is a second grader at Lauderdale County Elementary School in Rogersville is proof. When a group from his church got together to help the less fortunate, Karson wasn’t there to simply watch. Karson raised his hand and donated his money to help feed those in need during the Christmas holiday. After Nolan Clemmons nominated Karson, LCHS Elementary Principal Mrs. Matthews and second grade teacher, Mrs. Copeland arranged for Karson and the entire second grade to be able to listen to The Mark White Show during the Good Deed segment. Thanks to the Huntsville Havoc, Karson will be going to his first hockey game! Family members recorded Karson’s special moment.
